Yoga is much more than movement. Beneath the poses and breathwork lies a vast ocean of wisdom—a system of understanding ourselves and the world that has been passed from teacher to student for thousands of years. My Yoga Studies sessions are designed for those who want to go deeper into this tradition through one-on-one mentorship and personal study of yoga’s most essential texts and teachings.

What We Study
In our time together, we’ll explore ancient yoga texts such as Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtra, the Bhagavad Gītā, and other key writings from the tradition I’ve studied for over a decade. These teachings offer insights into the mind, emotions, behavior, and spirit—guidance that feels just as relevant today as it did centuries ago.
Rather than an academic or abstract study, our sessions are always practical. We’ll work together to connect these teachings to your life. How does yoga philosophy apply to your current challenges? How can it help bring clarity or peace? What does it mean to live in alignment with deeper values? Each session is a living conversation, rooted in tradition but adapted to your real experience.

Yoga Studies is not a lecture—it’s a dialogue. Our work together is entirely one-on-one, which means I’ll tailor our sessions to your interests, questions, and background. Whether you’re completely new to these texts or have been practicing for years, we’ll find the right entry point for you.
This isn’t about memorizing Sanskrit or debating interpretations. It’s about gaining insight. Insight into who you are, what you value, and how to meet life with steadiness, clarity, and heart.

What to Expect
Each session is 60 minutes and includes guided discussion, reading assignments if you choose, and space for reflection. I’ll recommend readings and practices based on what’s alive for you at the moment—whether that’s navigating a difficult season, searching for direction, or simply wanting to live more intentionally.
We can meet in person in Evansville or via Zoom. Sessions are paced according to your needs—some clients meet weekly, others monthly.
